Description:

From Lincoln County Fair Website:

The Lincoln County Fair is the official Fair for the county and is operated under the auspices of the County Commissioners for the primary purpose of education and encouraging the people of Lincoln County towards raising better farm and garden products, cooking, canning, sewing and the arts. Although entertainment is provided to attract attention and attendance, basically the Fair is educational in all its various divisions. School exhibits, club booths, commercial exhibits, federal, state and county exhibits all have their part in the educational value of the Fair. By offering many premiums in all phases of 4-H and youth work, the Fair aids materially in encouraging participation in this valuable training for our youth.

Going into its 104th year, the event is still offering the "country" standards that make it a "must-be-there" tradition. Exhibit barns will be full of completed projects brought for display and competition by Lincoln County residents. 4-H members complete their projects for the year with their fair exhibits, livestock, horse and dog shows, and the market livestock sale. The food court consisting of about a dozen different local vendors will offer a variety of menu items for any taste. Besides the social opportunities to meet and greet neighbors and friends, old and new, attendees will be entertained with Free Stage musical selections , Co-op Day at the Fair bucket rides, and Friday Night Games in the arena. Kidsville and the petting farm will be back this year to keep the kids occupied with many activities, rides, and games. A variety of vendors will be on hand for shopping, sharing of information for various causes and entities and more fun things to do. Saturday night's show in the arena, The Bull Thing (7 p.m.), will provide plenty of excitement for rodeo fans as well as visitors who want to experience a touch of the West. Parking is available.
