The Bitterroot Scottish Irish Festival is a community-based event with the primary mission of promoting education, awareness and pride in our local heritage and history. Nationally sanctioned competitions for Highland games, Highland dancing and pipe & drum bands draw world-class competitors from far and wide. In addition, representatives from Scottish and Irish clans and vendors specializing in hand-crafted wares, regional music and foods offer many opportunities to share stories and find out more about the rich history that we all share. The festival is held on the Daly Mansion Grounds, which serves as an ideal venue. There is something for everyone at this fun, lively family event, as it presents a unique reflection of all who call the Bitterroot Valley "home".
