| Description: | From Red Ants Pants Music Festival Website: The Red Ants Pants Music Festival was founded in 2011. It is designed to bring people together and is a program of the 501(c)(3) Red Ants Pants Foundation. Our non-profit is in support of women's leadership, working family farms and ranches, and rural communities. We use proceeds from the festival to fund our grant cycle and run our timber skills workshops and young girls leadership program.
In 2011, 6,000 fans came to celebrate rural Montana in a cow pasture. Over the years, attendees have enjoyed headliners including Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris, Charley Pride, Lucinda Williams, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Keb' Mo', Wynonna, Dwight Yoakam, and many more. The festival continues its success into its tenth year July 23-26, 2020, aiming to improve upon the authentic, rich community culture attendees enjoyed during the 2019 festival.
